The holiday season is coming.
On weekends, pick out unique gifts in two different craft shows, visit Santa at Ayr, visit the ion train, or enjoy free skating at Siskins, Waterloo.
There is a lot to do in Waterloo this weekend.
Here is a short list: K-
The W woodworking and craft center will hold an open day and fair at its woodworking store on Saturday.
Take a look at handmade gifts and collectibles by local artisans and maybe go shopping for some Christmas when you are there.
Take an ion train tour as it stops at nine stations on Saturday between the Conestoga Mall and the beauty Park Mall.
The train will stay at nine stations for 30 minutes for residents to visit the train and ask questions to the staff.

The Waterloo Memorial Entertainment Center in Waterloo is celebrating its 25 th anniversary.
Popular face before Sunday afternoon-

On Saturday, visit the Etsy holiday market in RIM Park to buy gifts from more than 75 local artisans selling goods.
Free admission.
Saturday is the Santa Claus Parade in North Dumfries.
After the parade, bring a donation from the food bank and a letter to Santa Claus.
It starts at Northumberland Street and ingries Street, travels along Northumberland Street and ends at the Al Library.
After that, Santa Claus will greet the children at the Centennial Park Pavilion.
