Toys that encourage outdoor activities will be one of the hottest gifts this Christmas, as more and more adults start to panic about raising obese or lazy children.
Industry experts say a string of warnings triggered by Australia\'s obesity crisis are beginning to take root.

Retail tracker Gfk data show that spending on outdoor and sports toys has soared by 20 in the past year.
Spending on architecture, games and puzzles, as well as arts and crafts increased by 10 per cent, while spending on electronics fell sharply.

He said that families are concentrated on toys, which bring smiles to people and are very educational and safe.
Australians are expected to spend up to $1 billion on the festival.
