\"My back makes me feel bad,\" joked Pickering boy, who has been the chief Game Officer of toy fight city since August 2013.
This is a dream job for most kids, which makes him the first person in Canada to get the coolest toys of each season, testing items to make the Christmas wish list a gift a few months in advance
All the toys he tried were \"hard to track\" but he estimated hundreds.
This includes a lot of lightsabers, nerf guns, scooters, Barbie and craft packs, so it\'s natural to think that the best part of the job is a toy, but Alex says, \"for a kid, this is too old.
\"Although the toys are really great, I like to travel,\" he told the Star . \" He made a list of Canadian cities he was preparing to make his debut on The Morning Show, where he told the giver what gifts would make the children smile.
Luckily, Alex claimed \"I haven\'t seen a bad toy yet.
However, he admitted, \"the Tank Engine group like Thomas is a good toy ,(but)
It doesn\'t appeal to me, so what I have to do is put myself in the mind of someone who wants the Thomas tank engine and what\'s cool for them.
\"Looking back at so many toys, it\'s\" very difficult \"to make a list for Santa every year, but Alex said he didn\'t get the toys he wanted from his job.
Take video games as an example.
\"They will give me some of the hottest gifts of the season, but the others, I received them for Christmas,\" he said . \".
\"It worked very well for me.
\"Alex kept only a few toys in every assignment he gave --
He says there is only so much space in his bedroom to store them.
The rest is donated to the old daycare center of charities, friends and Alex.
There are also a few of his brothers.
\"He has all the benefits and can get toys without doing all the work,\" Alex said . \".
\"You can say that his situation may be a little better (than mine)
But I prefer my situation because I can travel.
\"Alex has to do a lot of juggling.
The high school student worked as an actor on Nickelodeon\'s Paw Patrol and Disney/eOne\'s pajamas mask.
In order to cope with the needs of the work, he took some correspondence courses.
In order to get his dream title, Alex had to apply to a country
Extensive search competition
The fourth toy fight city is held.
Hundreds of children between the ages of 11 and 13 usually compete for the job.
Alex\'s successor has begun to look for and top finalists will soon be invited for auditions and interviews.
As one of his final duties, Alex reviewed some of their application videos, took notes and will be interviewed at any time.
The gig that the applicant is fighting for comes with-
The choice of annual term and extension.
This means a lot of travel, exciting experiences and toys, but a spokesman declined to say whether it involved pay and noted that the officers were \"compensated for time \", but the terms of the agreement are confidential.
\"What about the retirement plan?
\"Sadly, no,\" Alex said.
